Project news at Green Piling
Green Piling has been busy delivering piling solutions across a range of residential, educational and commercial developments. From housing schemes to school construction and industrial projects, our team continues to provide reliable foundation solutions tailored to the requirements of each individual site.
Here’s a look at some of our recent projects and our latest company investments:
Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) piling: low-noise, minimal-vibration piling projects

- Wellingborough Weighbridges
We were sub-contracted to Vision Groundworks and on-site for 12 weeks in total, we successfully installed and tested 350mm, 450mm and 600mm diameter CFA piles, a 450mm contiguous piled wall and installation of 300 diameter rigid inclusions.
- Three pedestrian bridges in Halifax
Green Piling was subcontracted to Esh Construction on a project to improve walking and cycling links between neighbouring towns and villages. We had three different rigs on site, with one being required to crane over a river to reach the installation site. We successfully installed 400mm and 500mm diameter sectional flight auger (SFA) and CFA Piles to the site.
- Manchester Met University Refurbishment
We were subcontracted to Eric Wright to install 450mm diameter CFA piles and a king post wall. This project is to support the creation of a new Campus Hub at Manchester Metropolitan University.

- Priory Shopping Centre, Worksop
Subcontracted to GF Tomlinson, we installed 300mm and 400mm diameter CFA piles and 300mm diameter SFA piles in a restricted access area. This project will support increasing footfall and breathing new life into Worksop and the surrounding areas.
