Our achievements to date
Investing in renewable energy
We understand that the construction industry is a major contributor to pollution, and we’ve taken active steps to reduce our reliance on non-renewable resources and lower our carbon footprint. We’ve installed solar panels at our Head Office, harnessing clean, renewable energy to power our operations.
Making the switch to electric & hybrid vehicles
85% of our company cars are either electric or hybrid, demonstrating our commitment to cutting emissions and promoting cleaner transportation solutions. We continuously review our vehicle fleet to ensure we are making choices that align with our sustainability objectives, aiming for a 100% eco-friendly fleet in the near future.
Responsibly managing our waste
All of the waste produced at both our Head Office and manufacturing site is responsibly managed, ensuring that recyclable materials are segregated and the volume of waste sent to landfill is reduced. We are continuously improving our recycling systems and finding new, innovative ways to reduce waste generation.
Supporting local charities
We actively support our local community through charitable efforts. Each year, our team nominates a ‘Charity of the Year’, with this year’s cause being the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Our social responsibility initiatives aim to make a difference to those in need, as well as support essential services in our community.
G-span: revolutionising the approach to sustainable foundations
Sustainability is at the core of our services, and is evident in our innovative G-span system. Featuring an industry-leading beam breadth of only 350mm, G-span reduces the use of concrete per foundation and ensures efficient construction without clashing with service entry points or SVP egress.
It also eliminates the need for excavation of working platforms and reinstatement, saving resources and lessening environmental impact.
