Due to continued expansion we are recruiting for a full time permanent Yard Operative based at our Renishaw premises.
Reporting to our Plant and Yard Manager you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our busy yard.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Safely receiving and offloading supplier deliveries.
- Loading supplier vehicles and company transport with plant and equipment.
- Moving, stacking, storing, and replenishing materials or equipment, ensuring items are securely stored and easy to locate.
- Keeping the yard tidy, organised, and free of hazards to maintain high safety standards.
- Completing company documentation in line with our Quality system and Company procedures.
Required skills:
- Current Forklift truck and telehandler licences are essential.
- Proven experience in a similar environment.
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication skills.
