Green Piling are proud to share they have raised £3,054 raised for Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity in 2025, thanks to the passion and generosity of our team and supporters.
Giving back to the community is important to us and supporting the charity has been a very special part of our year.
Our Fundraising Highlights 2025
Here’s a recap of what we got up to over the past year:
Charity Football Tournament - June
In June, our 5-a-side team kicked off our fundraising efforts with a day of five fun matches and plenty of cheering on from the sidelines.
This event alone raised £300 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity and was a fantastic start to our fundraising journey!
Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge – July
In July, our team took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge – a 25-mile, 12-hour trek across Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough.
Employee fundraising raised almost £1,200, which the company generously doubled, bringing the total raised from this challenge to £2,400.
This event was our chance to showcase our team’s determination, teamwork and commitment – qualities we also demonstrate in our day jobs!
Festive Charity Day – December
In December, we wrapped up the year with a festive charity day including a raffle, cake sale and wearing our Christmas jumpers!
Our team generously donated a wide selection of treats, filling the office with festive cheer and raising a final £354 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.
Corporate Social Responsibility in Construction
At Green Piling, supporting Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity isn’t just about fundraising; we value people as much as the projects we deliver.
It brings our team together, strengthens our connection with the community and reflects the care behind the piling, foundations and ground engineering we do.
Looking Ahead to Our 2026 Fundraising Events
Following on from our successful support in 2025, we’re thrilled to announce Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity will remain our Charity of the Year in 2026.
We’re excited to continue fundraising through new events this year, with the aim of raising even more donations to support young patients and their families.
Clients, partners and the wider community are invited to support us in our efforts by donating, cheering us on at events and sharing our achievements on social media platforms.
Keep an eye out for details of our first fundraising event this year…
Together, we hope to make an even bigger difference in 2026.
