Skydive for Charity!
On the 1st May 2021, Sarah Shackshaft and Colin Monk jumped out of a plane to raise money for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice!
Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice cares for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. At the moment, they are caring for around 250 families, both in the hospice and in family homes. The support and care includes end of life treatment, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, home visits and much, much more. In just one year, Bluebell Wood provides more than 50,000 of hours of care.
Every day, it costs around £14,000 to keep the hospice open; only around 15% of which comes from the government.
Every family deserves to make magical memories with their child, whether they have years, months, weeks or days together. Where you are able to sponsor £1 or £20, your donation could make the world of a difference, and will go towards caring for children and young adults whose lives are sadly just too short.
