Green Piling undertook the design and installation services of Steel Tubular Piles to form part of the foundations for a high rise residential development in the new residential quarter at Kelham Island, Sheffield.
Steel Tubular Piles were chosen over Pre-cast and CFA due to the obstructions showing in the site investigation report and previous experience Green Piling have in the area.
Using 220mm, 275mm and 340mm diameter piles, 217 piles in total were driven to rock head, to depths of up to 14m using a Junttan PM20.
