Green Piling were sub-contracted to Kier Northern in April 2010 to undertake the design and installation of CFA piles at the new hospital redevelopment.
CFA piles were chosen due to the close proximity of other buildings; often preferred when piling works are within hospital or school grounds, CFA piles offer a 'quiter' and less vibration solution to driven piles.
Installed using our Soilmec SF50 rig, minor obstructions were encountered on site during installation, however, no delays occured and the works were competed within the timescales allocated on our programme.
